Now that I've setup a layout for my site, I'm going through and backfilling all the stuff I've done and put up in random places on the server This one was Log shipping for PostgreSQL 8.0. I created it as a proof of concept when someone brought it up on the PostgreSQL Hackers mailing list. It's a little crude, but it does work. Of course I wouldn't use it for production, since there are a lot of places it can fail, or not do what you'd expect.

But here's the code, it's crude but it does prove that we can do log shipping. Hopefully in a later version we'll have better support for this nice replication method by supporting read-only queries on a cluster, and replaying logs while people are using the system.
